Delhi is likely to receive rainfall on Wednesday (March 18), according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast. The residents will experience relief from the hot and humid weather for a few days, as the met department predicted rain till Friday (March 20) this week. As per the forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to stay around 33 degrees Celsius today, while the minimum will drop to 18 degrees Celsius.

The IMD has issued a “yellow alert” for Delhi for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.

When Will It Rain in Delhi?

According to the IMD, Delhi is expected to receive rain for three days this week, on Wednesday (March 18), Thursday (March 19), and Friday (March 20). The weather department stated that there will be partly cloudy skies in the afternoon, and it will rain at night.

Moreover, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for the national capital for three days, predicting, “very light to light rainfall, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning & gusty winds(30-40kmph) during afternoon and evening”.
