Timothée Chalamet has been the talk of the town for quite some time now, as he was one of the strongest contenders for the Best Actor award at the Oscars 2026. For those unaware, his performance in the movie, Marty Supreme, has been widely recognised by both critics and fans. Despite this, Timothée walked away empty-handed at the end of the night, losing to Michael B. Jordan for his dual role in the supernatural drama, Sinners. Well, to rub salt in the wound, Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, posted one of Michael’s emotional acceptance speech moments to his Instagram Stories, with fans believing that the rapper was being shady towards Timothée.

Michael B. Jordan achieved a milestone in his career at the 2026 Oscars ceremony, after winning the Best Actor award for his role in Ryan Coogler’s film, Sinners. In the supernatural film, Michael plays the dual role of twin brothers, ‘Elijah “Smoke” Moore’ and ‘Elias “Stack” Moore’. The brothers return to their hometown after World War I to start a new life, only to discover that a great evil, in the form of vampires, is waiting for them. Michael took to the Oscars stage, looking visibly in disbelief and wiping away his tears, and took the award from last year’s winner, Adrien Brody.
