The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) has addressed the growing anticipation surrounding the Class 10 board examination results, clarifying that the scores will not be released today, March 20. According to senior board officials, while the evaluation process is entering its final stages, an official announcement regarding the specific date and time for the results is now expected early next week, likely by Monday, March 23.

The clarification comes as nearly 10 lakh students across the state await their performance reports. Speculation regarding a mid-March release had intensified recently, prompting the board to provide a formal update to manage expectations.

Evaluation logistics and scale

The Class 10 examinations were conducted between February 12 and February 28, 2026. To ensure a timely turnaround for such a massive cohort, the RBSE deployed approximately 35,000 teachers across centralized evaluation centers statewide. Sources within the Ajmer headquarters indicate that the checking of answer scripts is virtually complete, and the technical team is currently engaged in the final data processing and merit list verification to ensure error-free results.

Accessing the scorecard

Once the results are formally declared, students can access their digital mark sheets through the board’s official portal at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. To view the results, candidates will be required to enter their unique roll numbers as provided on their admit cards.

The board has maintained its standard passing criteria: students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each individual subject, as well as an overall aggregate of 33 percent, to be declared successful. For those who fall short in one or two subjects, the RBSE will conduct supplementary examinations later in the year to provide a second opportunity for advancement.

Academic calendar and historical context

The 2026 timeline aligns closely with the board’s efforts to return to a pre-pandemic academic schedule. For historical context, the results in 2025 and 2024 were released on May 28 and May 29, respectively. The current trajectory suggests the 2026 results may be announced significantly earlier than in previous cycles.

The result announcement is critical for the upcoming academic session. Rajasthan schools are scheduled to reopen on April 1, operating until the commencement of summer vacations on May 16. Regular classes for the new senior secondary session are slated to resume on June 21.

Students and parents are advised to rely solely on official communications from the Ajmer board and avoid unverified social media claims. The official notification expected on Monday will provide the finality required for students to plan their higher secondary education streams.
