The Ministry of Panchayati Raj will present a suite of Artificial Intelligence-powered solutions aimed at strengthening grassroots governance at the India AI Impact Expo 2026, scheduled to be held from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The Ministry’s interactive booth (Hall 5, Booth 5F5 and 5F9) will feature live demonstrations, simulations and citizen-centric digital tools designed to improve administrative efficiency, transparency and accountability in Panchayati Raj institutions.
Among the key solutions on display will be SabhaSaar, an AI-enabled platform that records, transcribes and summarises Gram Sabha and official meetings into structured and actionable Minutes of Meeting. The system is aimed at improving documentation accuracy and reducing manual workload.
Another platform, PRAMAN (Panchayati Raj Asset Monitoring and Notification), uses image analytics for automated validation of uploaded photographs of public assets. The tool assesses image quality, checks authenticity and detects duplication, helping ensure transparency in asset monitoring.
The Ministry will also demonstrate eGramSaathi, an AI-powered chatbot designed to assist Panchayat officials and citizens by providing information and guidance related to governance processes and public services.
A key highlight of the booth will be interactive formats allowing visitors to experience AI-enabled governance tools firsthand. One such feature, titled “Be the Sarpanch,” will simulate a real-world decision-making scenario, showcasing how AI can document and streamline administrative processes using a role-based engagement model inspired by the traditional Nukkad Natak format.
Live walkthroughs of the AI platforms will offer visitors an opportunity to understand practical applications of emerging technologies at the village and local administration levels.
Through its participation, the Ministry aims to contribute to discussions on responsible and policy-driven use of AI in public systems. The Ministry said the showcase underscores the government’s commitment to leveraging digital innovation for citizen-centric service delivery and scalable solutions in rural governance.
