The search for Nancy Guthrie has reached its 42nd day, with no hopeful news regarding the 84-year-old’s survival. The search began on February 1, 2026, after the mother of Today Show host, Savannah Guthrie, disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona, home under mysterious circumstances. The Pima County police and the FBI are treating the case as a priority, suspecting abduction. Despite hundreds of leads and photos of masked person(s) of interest surfacing, the investigation is still stalled. Meanwhile, a neighbour of Nancy’s came up with some new, surprising details about the investigation process.
Nancy Guthrie’s neighbour shared his last conversation with her before her disappearance
In a recent interview with a journalist, Brian Entin, a gardener who works in the neighbourhood of Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home, shared details of his last interaction with her. The unnamed individual recalled his last conversation with Savannah’s mother, which occurred approximately eight months before her disappearance on February 1, 2026. He described the encounter as brief and pleasant, occurring early in the morning. At that time, out of courtesy, he asked the elderly woman, “Hi, Mrs Guthrie, how are you?” and she responded kindly.
