Pima County Sheriff’s Department reacts to questions around Sheriff, Chris Nanos’ resume
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is addressing questions about Sheriff, Chris Nanos’ work history amid the search for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother, Nancy Guthrie. The department issued a statement to US Weekly on March 10, 2026 (ET), addressing discrepancies in the Sheriff’s resume. They stated:
“The Pima County Sheriff’s Department recently identified two clerical errors in Sheriff Chris Nanos’ publicly posted resume. Both date discrepancies were administrative in nature and were not intended to mislead or misrepresent Sheriff Nanos’ work history.”
