On National Science Day, February 28, students from Mumbai’s Wilson College showcased science in action for school children. Departments, including Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, IT, and Zoology, organised interactive exhibitions designed to simplify complex concepts for attendees from nearby government schools.

The event featured live demonstrations, working models, and research displays, with nearly 1000 visitors exploring the college grounds. Exhibits ranged from wildlife conservation and evolutionary concepts to plant taxonomy and live specimens. Physics students demonstrated experiments in optics, mechanics, electricity, and astrophysics, while math students conducted logical reasoning games, mathematical models, and practical applications of statistics.
