Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir on Friday. The two sides discussed the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom within the framework of the Saudi-Pakistani Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement, focusing on means to halt the attacks that undermine regional security and stability.

In a post shared from his official X platform, Prince Khalid wrote that he hopes the Iranian side would “demonstrate wisdom and reason and steer clear of miscalculations.”

“Met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir. We discussed Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and the measures needed to halt them within the framework of our Joint Strategic Defense Agreement. We stressed that such actions undermine regional security and stability and expressed hope that the Iranian side will exercise wisdom and avoid miscalculation,” the Saudi Defence Minister said in the post.
