An Air Canada flight and a fire truck’s deadly collision at the LaGuardia airport in New York City claimed the lives of the pilot and co-pilot and injured more than 30 people. It so happened that on March 22, 2026, the Jazz aviation flight, which was operating on behalf of Air Canada, was landing on runway four of the LaGuardia airport, and it struck an aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle, causing the collision.
Several glimpses surfaced on social media, leaving everyone in utter shock. In the audio clips that surfaced, it was heard that an air controller gave permission to the truck to cross runway 4; however, another controller was heard screaming, ‘Stop, stop, stop, stop. Truck 1, stop, stop, stop.’
