Kolkata Weather Tomorrow: Kolkata is likely to experience light rainfall with thunderstorms this week, as the temperature will take a slight dip. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius tomorrow (Friday), while the minimum will stay around 25 degrees Celsius.

Earlier today, Kolkata saw a partly cloudy sky in the day, with thunder and lightning. The maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius on Thursday (March 12).

Meanwhile, districts in north Bengal are likely to witness thunderstorms till next Tuesday. Light rainfall accompanied by thunder is expected, particularly in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, and Jalpaiguri. Further, gusty winds with speeds ranging between 30 and 50 kmph may also occur in these areas.

IMD Bulletin For India

Isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning, and gusty winds are likely over Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during March 13-16. “Moreover, isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on March 12 and 13,” according to the IMD bulletin.
