The Indian Air Force (IAF) will showcase the indigenously designed and manufactured Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv through performances by its renowned Sarang Helicopter Display Team at the Changi Exhibition Centre during the Singapore Airshow 2026, to be held from February 3 to 8.
Known for precision flying, close-formation manoeuvres and disciplined execution, the Sarang team’s aerobatic display will highlight the operational versatility, agility and reliability of the ALH Dhruv across a wide range of missions, including military operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
Singapore Airshow 2026, Asia’s premier biennial aerospace and defence exhibition, brings together air forces from around the world, global aerospace and defence companies, and aviation stakeholders, providing a platform to showcase advanced military and civil aviation technologies while fostering strategic dialogue and industry partnerships across the Indo-Pacific region.
The airshow will feature aerial performances by the Sarang Helicopter Display Team along with three other international display teams, and will also include a static display of 37 aircraft.
Established in 2005, the Sarang Aerobatic Team operates a fleet of five ALH Dhruv helicopters. Over the years, the team has performed at several major international airshows, including the MAKS International Air Show in Russia (2021), the Dubai Air Show (2021 and 2023), the Bahrain International Air Show (2024), and earlier editions of the Singapore Airshow in 2024.
In addition to aerobatic displays, the Sarang team regularly participates in domestic events and has played a significant role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, reinforcing the Indian Air Force’s operational readiness and commitment to regional and global cooperation.
