Two girls in Delhi allegedly fought over a 17-year-old boy in southwest Delhi‘s RK Puram. But a minor fight turned into a major altercation and a blade attack, according to a Times of India report. The feud between the two girls began on February 22 when one of the girls allegedly spotted her boyfriend with another girl in a park in RK Puram’s Sector 3.
What Led To The Fight?
The dispute quickly turned into a late-night arson and firing attack. As the girl saw her boyfriend with another girl, she confronted the girl and accused her of trying to take away her boyfriend.
Later, the girl returned with her sister and six or seven boys, the police told TOI. The group then allegedly attacked the other girl with a blade and suffered a deep cut across her cheek and multiple injuries on other parts of her body.
The girl was later taken to the Safdarjung Hospital for medical treatment.
How the Injured Girl’s Brother Planned a Revenge Plot
Notably, the injured girl’s brother is a local criminal lodged in Tihar Jail. When he learned about the incident, he allegedly asked an associate to retaliate.
On February 24, around eight men came on motorcycles and began searching the lanes of RK Puram for the other girl. When she was found, they chased her, and the girl ran into the narrow lanes of Parvatiya Camp and entered a house.
The group considered it the girl’s house and targeted it. They poured petrol on the gate and parts of the house, and set it on fire. As flames rose from the house, the attackers fired several rounds and fled the spot.
The police have arrested two people linked to the case, and three minors have also been apprehended, including people from both sides.
