dubai flight status today: air india, indigo rejig flight schedules, cut down operations

Dubai Flight Status Today: The growing conflict, involving the United States, Israel and Iran, continues to disrupt the aviation operations across the Middle East routes. Major airlines have issued travel advisories, revising flight plans and asking passengers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.

Between India and UAE, several flights schedule revised

The West Asia crisis has triggered several carriers to either revise their schedules or scale down operations. Airlines, including Air India and IndiGo have issued travel advisories about disruptions to flights between India and the United Arab Emirates, citing that the deepening crisis in the Gulf region has led to operational curbs and schedule changes at airports in the region.

Several flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi have been cancelled or rescheduled, and passengers have been asked to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.

What Air India said

Air India also announced changes to its operations after receiving instructions from airport authorities in the UAE. The airline said both Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express have reduced several scheduled flights on March 15.

Key points

Following instructions from UAE Airport Authorities, Air India and Air India Express are compelled to curtail their ad‑hoc operations for March 15, 2026.

Air India: Operating one Delhi–Dubai return flight; four of the five planned Dubai flights are cancelled.

Air India Express: Operating one Delhi–Dubai return flight; five of six Dubai flights are cancelled.

Abu Dhabi: All five Air India Express flights cancelled.

Sharjah: Air India Express plans to operate flights to Delhi, Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram.

Ras Al Khaimah: Air India Express will operate Ras Al Khaimah–Kozhikode and Ras Al Khaimah–Kochi flights.

These flights will be operated subject to slot availability and condition prevailing during the time of operation. Guests on cancelled or temporarily suspended services may rebook to a future date at no additional charge or opt for a full refund, the airline said.

Air India and Air India Express regret the inconvenience caused by these unavoidable constraints. We remain committed to bringing stranded guests home at the earliest opportunity, it added.

What IndiGo said

IndiGo said flight operations in Dubai are facing additional restrictions due to the situation in the Middle East. In a post on X, the airline said, “Update: Due to the evolving situation in the Middle East, flight operations have been further restricted in Dubai, leading to changes in flight schedules. Customers travelling to/from Dubai are requested to check their flight status before leaving for the airport. We are also sending out notifications to keep customers informed of the latest updates.”
