Recently, the much-loved singer-turned-actor, Miley Cyrus sat down for a conversation with Variety, during which she opened up about the impact of the show, Hannah Montana. For the unversed, in the show, Miley played the role of ‘Hannah Montana’ and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus portrayed the role of ‘Robby Stewart’. During the conversation, Miley revealed that her parents did not need her fame and money at all. In her words:

“My parents didn’t need me to be famous to survive or to be stable. What happens to a lot of these kids is their parents want it more than they do, or the kids become responsible for the entire income of the family. That was never my job. Every penny I ever made went into my bank account because my parents were good.”
