New Delhi: The national capital woke up to a cool and hazy morning on Friday with clear skies and a light breeze, as the morning temperature settled around 14 degrees Celsius. However, Delhi is experiencing unusually warm weather for February, with afternoon temperatures making it feel more like April. Standing outside for long stretches during the day has become uncomfortable as the sun beats down, though early mornings and nights still carry a pleasant chill.
On Thursday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 30.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 12.6 degrees Celsius. Some relief came from a light breeze blowing through the day alongside the sunshine.
What to Expect Today
The India Meteorological Department has forecast clear skies for Friday with sunshine from the morning itself. Some patches of cloud may appear during the day and morning mist is likely in several areas. The maximum temperature is expected to touch 31 degrees Celsius while the minimum will stay around 15 degrees Celsius. NCR cities will also see similar clear and warm conditions.
