In a disturbing case reported from Delhi’s Okhla, a 7-year-old girl has been allegedly assaulted by three boys, who also attempted to rape her. The Delhi Police have registered an FIR under sections of the POCSO Act and have taken the minor accused boys into custody. The accused minors include one 12-year-old and two 13-year-olds. The victim was sent to AIIMS, Delhi, for a medical examination.
Police provided further details on the incident. On 14 March 2026, a PCR call was received at the Okhla Industrial Area police station regarding the alleged sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl by three minor boys.

“During preliminary enquiry, the victim was sent to AIIMS Hospital along with her mother and a lady constable for medical examination. The statement of the victim, aged about 7 years, was recorded wherein she alleged that she had been sexually assaulted by three minor boys, namely S (13 years), E (13 years) and M (12 years),” police said in a statement.
The three accused boys were detained by the police within the hour and complaint and were brought to station for questioning.

The case comes nearly two months after a six-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by three minor boys, aged between 10 and 16 years, in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura, the police said. The horrific incident happened on January 18. Two of the accused have been apprehended in conflict with the law, while one accused is absconding.
The police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and apprehended two of the accused in conflict with the law; one remains at large.
According to the investigators, three boys, aged 10, 13 and 16 years, allegedly lured the girl with food and took her to a nearby empty building and raped her.
