Charithra Chandran reveals being used to the racist backlash
In an interview with India Today, Charithra spoke about the recent racist backlash she faced and revealed that she found strength in her community. Charithra revealed how colour plays a vital role in the entertainment business. Talking about facing racism, she stated:
“Unfortunately, when you are a person of colour, racism is the nature of the business. You could be minding your own business and still be exposed to it. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. But at this point, I’m so used to it.”
