'Bhai, Kya kardiya Tune': Delhi Man Dies by Self-Inflicted Gunshot As Friend Records Video – WATCH

A 28-year-old man died after allegedly shooting himself in East Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar area, while being recorded by his cousin, appearing unaware of what was about to happen. The deceased, identified as Pawan Kumar, a resident of Dallupura village, was brought unconscious to Dharamshila Hospital on Monday with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest. Doctors declared him brought dead.

Police also recovered a mobile phone containing a chilling video of the incident that was reportedly recorded by his cousin. The footage shows the deceased handling the firearm and shooting himself, while his cousin was present and recording.

In the video, the person recording it can be heard instructing Pawan on how to insert the magazine, saying, “Click the button, it will go inside.” After inserting the magazine, Pawan, who appeared physically fit, was seen cocking the weapon. A voice from behind the camera can be heard saying, “Chala mat dena, bhai” (don’t fire it).

Seconds later, he placed the gun against the left side of his chest, briefly looked toward the camera and smiled. He then pulled the trigger and collapsed. The person recording the video is heard reacting in shock, shouting, “Bhai, kya kar diya tune?” (What have you done?).

During preliminary inquiry, police found that the incident occurred at his residence in Dallupura. Crime and forensic teams inspected both the hospital and the spot, and the body has been sent to LBS Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

Investigators said the man allegedly used a licensed pistol belonging to his cousin, Himanshu. The weapon, along with 10 live cartridges, has been seized. Based on medical findings, video evidence and initial investigation, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
