Aditya Dhar has been making waves with his film, Dhurandhar, which was released on December 5, 2025. The sequel to the movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is all set to be released on March 19, 2026, with a paid preview available on March 18, 2026.
The excitement has been up for the movie’s sequel, even more than the first part, given Aditya Dhar ended up doing wonders, and so did the cast of the movie. The film features some of the biggest Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan, among others. Now, another Bollywood biggie, Anil Kapoor, said that he was also offered a role in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, but he said ‘no’, which now feels like a personal loss to him.

Anil Kapoor recently sat for an interview with India Today, wherein he called Dhurandhar a fantastic film. The actor revealed that he was offered a cameo role by Aditya Dhar in the movie. However, Anil said ‘no’ to the role, as he had previous commitments. He shared that Aditya reached out to him for a small cameo role in the movie, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, but he said to the director that he would love to join the cast, but wouldn’t be able to do the same because he had already said ‘yes’ to another project.
