Chuck Norris has recently passed away at the age of 86. The news was confirmed by his family members through a statement shared through the actor’s official Instagram handle on March 20, 2026 (ET). With a black-and-white photo of Chuck, the family wrote that they would like to maintain privacy in terms of the circumstances leading to the martial artist’s death. However, the family thanked Chuck’s fans for their support, following his hospitalization on March 18, 2026 (ET).
Chuck Norris was well-known for the roles that he portrayed on screen over the years. He was mostly famous for playing ‘Sergeant Ranger Cordell Walker’ in Walker, Texas Ranger. He even served as an executive producer of a few episodes in the series and contributed to the storyline of six episodes. Norris also voiced himself in the animated series, Karate Kommandos, in 1986. Chuck was even featured in films like Silent Rage, Forced Vengeance, Firewalker, The Hitman, and more.
