After a positive response to six seasons, Virgin River is returning with the seventh season on March 12, 2026. The basic premise of the show focused on a nurse practitioner named ‘Melinda ‘Mel’ Monroe,’ who arrives in Los Angeles for a new beginning in her life. Season 1 was released in 2019 and had ten episodes. It was followed by five more seasons until December 2024. Except for the fifth season, all the episodes were released together on the same day for the other installments.
Virgin River Season 7 was confirmed before the release of Season 6 in 2024. Sue Tenney is not returning as a showrunner this time, and the responsibilities have been taken over by Patrick Sean Smith, who joined the series in the fifth season.
