In fact, they failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014, finishing with a disappointing 6-11 record. In addition to the fact that Travis is nearing 40, many NFL fans thought that he would be retiring in 2026. Prior to Travis confirming that he will be back playing with the Chiefs for a 14th year, former NFL player, Pat McAfee, on his show, The Pat McAfee Show, said that he believes Travis’s “relationship with Taylor Swift is only going to make him better,” especially for the long haul.
