Importance of Chardham Yatra
The Chardham Yatra, which includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, is believed to be one of the most revered pilgrimages in Hinduism. For instance: Yamunotri is the origin of River Yamuna and is believed to cleanse sins. Gangotri, on the other hand, is the source of River Ganga. Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Then comes Badrinath, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu and represents ultimate salvation.
