‘Gandhi Talks’ Set for ZEE5 Premiere

The critically acclaimed silent film Gandhi Talks is all set for its world digital premiere on ZEE5 from March 6. After receiving strong appreciation during its theatrical run, the film will now be available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, allowing a wider audience to experience its unique storytelling.

Directed and written by Kishor Pandurang Belekar, Gandhi Talks stands out as a rare modern silent film that communicates entirely through visuals, expressions, and music rather than spoken dialogue. The film features a powerful ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth Jadhav. The emotional depth of the narrative is further elevated by a soul-stirring musical score composed by A. R. Rahman.

Produced by Zee Studios in association with Moviemill and Kyoorius, the film has been widely praised for its bold cinematic approach and compelling performances. The story follows individuals dealing with personal loss, financial hardships, and moral dilemmas. As their lives intersect unexpectedly, the narrative unfolds into an intense exploration of survival, consequences, and human connection.

Vijay Sethupathi described the film as a special experience that conveys powerful emotions without uttering a single word. He expressed happiness that the film, after its theatrical success, will now reach a broader audience through ZEE5. Aditi Rao Hydari shared that the project attracted her because of its ability to express an entire emotional world through silence and visual storytelling. Director Kishor Pandurang Belekar called the film a deeply personal and ambitious project, stating that telling a story without dialogue challenged the team to rely entirely on performances, visuals, and music.

With its unconventional format and emotionally immersive narrative, Gandhi Talks has been recognized as a bold experiment in contemporary Indian cinema. The digital release on ZEE5 is expected to introduce the film to new viewers across multiple languages, expanding its reach beyond theatres.

The film will begin streaming exclusively on ZEE5 from March 6 in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
