It’s a wrap for Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi: Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti talk about bidding an emotional goodbye as show nears finale


Zee TV’s long-running drama Bhagya Lakshmi is nearing its conclusion after an extensive four-year run. The show, which first aired in 2021, has completed over 1350 episodes and has been a consistent performer for the channel, known for its storyline built around destiny, resilience, and love.

As the show wraps up its final leg, the narrative is expected to offer closure to the central characters Lakshmi and Rishi, played by Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti. The pair, popularly referred to as #RishMi by fans, have been central to the show’s appeal, with their evolving relationship forming the emotional core of the series. The team recently completed filming for the final episode, marking the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony on set. Cast and crew came together to celebrate the journey and acknowledge the work that went into the making of the show.

Reflecting on her time playing Lakshmi, Aishwarya Khare shared, “I lived Lakshmi’s life every single day for the past four years, her joys, her heartbreak, her unwavering belief in doing the right thing. She wasn’t just a character; she became a part of my personality… This journey has been life-changing, and I walk away with nothing but gratitude.”

Rohit Suchanti, who played Rishi Oberoi, added, “Rishi Oberoi will always be one of the most special characters of my career. This show gave me recognition and a deep connection with our viewers, which I will always cherish… The bonds we’ve built here, both on and off screen, are for a lifetime.”

As Bhagya Lakshmi approaches its final episode, it leaves behind a legacy of emotional storytelling that resonated with its audience over the years. The finale is expected to offer a conclusion to Lakshmi and Rishi’s journey, bringing their arc to a close. Bhagya Lakshmi will soon go off-air on Zee TV.
