Actor Vijay Deverakonda has extended his support to Rashmika Mandanna as she unveiled the first look poster of her upcoming film Mysaa on Friday, June 27.
Reacting to the poster, Vijay wrote, “This one is going to be terrific @rashmika_mandanna #mysaa.” Rashmika responded to Vijay’s comment with a warm note, writing, “Vijjuuu! I promise to make you proud with this one!” along with several emojis. The sweet exchange quickly caught the attention of fans, many of whom have been rooting for the popular on-screen and off-screen duo for years.
Rashmika and Vijay have often been in the spotlight for their close bond. Recently, the two were seen together at the Mumbai airport, further fuelling ongoing speculation about their relationship. Fans also pointed out that Rashmika had shared a set of photos on social media that appeared to be clicked at Vijay’s home, adding to the buzz around the pair.
Meanwhile, Rashmika’s Mysaa first look also received appreciation from other actors and filmmakers. Her Chhaava co-star Vicky Kaushal commented, “The poster gave me goosebumps! #Mysaa Can’t wait to see you set the screen on fire @rashmika_mandanna.” Additionally, Thama director Aditya Sarpotdar wrote, “Looking Terrific. Congratulations.” Rashmika thanked both by resharing their comments on her Instagram story.
Sharing her excitement about the project, Rashmika posted, “I always try to give you something new… something different… something exciting… And this… This is one of those. A character I’ve never played before… a world I’ve never stepped into… and a version of me that even I hadn’t met till now. It’s fierce, it’s intense and it’s extremely raw. Mysaa is produced by Unformula Films and is described as an emotional action thriller set in the world of the Gond tribes. The film promises a gritty tale centred around a fierce woman warrior and is directed by Rawindra Pulle. Further details about the film’s release date are expected to be announced soon.
