Chennai to build 750-bed multispecialty paediatric hospital at King Institute with Rs487.66 crore investment; 7 floors, 14 unique departments




Tamil Nadu is set to get a new 750-bed children’s hospital. It will be located at the King Institute campus in Guindy. The state government has allocated Rs 487.66 crore for the project. The hospital will also house a postgraduate and super-specialty paediatric institute. Construction is expected to begin in September. The hospital will offer advanced care and research facilities.
