Telangana minister Uttam Kumar Reddy blames BRS for negligence of irrigation projects; says no threat to Jurala or Manjeera, Rs 400 crore sanctioned for upgrades & maintenance
Telangana Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy inspected the Jurala project. He stated that the project faces no threat. He accused the BRS party of neglecting the project’s maintenance for ten years. The minister announced ₹100 crore for an alternative bridge and Rs 300 crore for a second gantry crane. Desiltation work will restore the dam’s storage capacity.
