French aerospace giant to set up Hyderabad unit for maintenance of Rafale engines; 150 jobs by 2026

Safran is establishing Safran Aircraft Engine Services India in Hyderabad for Rafale fighter jet engine maintenance, creating 150 jobs by 2026 and potentially 750 more later. This follows Dassault Aviation’s agreement with Tata for Rafale fuselage production in Hyderabad. The new MRO, along with Safran’s existing facilities, will make Hyderabad a key hub for Rafale component production and exports.
