The Supreme Court expressed outrage at Ghaziabad jail authorities for detaining Aftab, who converted to Hinduism and married, due to a typo in his bail order related to the UP anti-conversion law. Despite the SC granting bail on April 29, the jail SP refused release because the order cited Sections 3 and 5 instead of 5(1).
