In Avadi, a tragic incident occurred where 10-year-old R Karthik lost his life after falling from a two-story building’s terrace. The Class VI student was trying to retrieve a kite stuck in a tree when he slipped and sustained fatal head injuries. He was visiting his grandmother for the weekend and was playing with other children when the accident happened.
