Bengaluru police conducted raids on over 40 bars and restaurants in the western part of the city following complaints of illegal activities. Nineteen establishments were found to be employing women bartenders in violation of regulations. The police also noted indecent behavior, lack of female security, extended operating hours, absence of smoking zones, and poor hygiene in these establishments.
