Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has requested the Centre and Andhra Pradesh to issue a no-objection certificate, enabling Telangana to utilize 1,500 TMC of water from the Godavari and Krishna rivers. This allocation, with Union government approval, could potentially irrigate 1.5 crore acres in Telangana. Reddy assured that Telangana would not oppose AP’s projects if its long-pending demands are met first.
