Hema Malini shares heartfelt moments and gifts golf cart to Vrindavan widows; watch

Veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini recently spent a touching day at Krishna Kutir, a shelter home for widows in Vrindavan. Calling the experience emotionally moving, she interacted with both older and younger residents, listened to their stories, and extended her support

The actress and politician not only shared heartfelt interactions with the women at the shelter but also gifted them a golf cart to ease their travel to nearby temples in Mathura and Vrindavan. She assured the residents that their concerns would be taken seriously and addressed.

On Thursday, the Sholay actress took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her visit. The images show Hema Malini giving a speech and engaging warmly with the elderly widows—holding their hands and offering comfort. One especially moving photo captures her embracing an elderly woman in a heartfelt hug.

In the caption, the Seeta Aur Geeta actress wrote, “Yesterday was a heart wrenching time spent with young and old Vrindavan widows in the shelter built for them – Krishna Kutir. I have gifted them with a golf cart to take them to the temples in Mathura – Vrindavan. They were so happy to interact with me and I promised to help them with their complaints. #mathuravrindavan.”
