The Telangana High Court has strongly criticized municipal officials for neglecting a landowner after acquiring his land for the Musi development project. IAS officer Arvind Kumar and HMDA’s land acquisition officer, N Prasoonamba, face a potential jail term and fine if they fail to register compensatory land for the landowner within three months, as per a previous court order.
