Maoist legacy of Gajarla family ends with Ravi: Top Maoist’s four-decade journey ends in Andhra Pradesh encounter; wife, brothers, cousins — all part of movement, most killed or surrendered



Gajarla Ravi, a CPI (Maoist) central committee member, killed in Andhra Pradesh, began his journey with the Naxals at age seven. Despite a brief attempt to steer him away, he joined the Revolutionary Youth League in 1989-90. His family was deeply involved in the movement, with his wife, brother, and cousin also losing their lives in encounters.
