India’s MICE industry sees 40% post-pandemic growth, aims global role



India is poised to become the world’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) capital, said Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at the 14th IEIA Open Seminar in New Delhi. With over 700 key stakeholders in attendance, the event spotlighted the country’s expanding infrastructure, rising global interest post-G20, and the exhibition sector’s contribution of ₹50,000 crore to the economy.
