Telangana cleans up voter rolls: 30,000 duplicates deleted via ERONET; voter ID-Aadhaar link hits 67%, says CEO C Sudarshan Reddy



Telangana’s chief electoral officer announced the deletion of 30,000 duplicate voters identified through ERONET data. The Election Commission of India is implementing measures like capping voters per polling station, reducing campaign booth distance, and integrating voter lists with the Registrar General for deceased voter removal. Furthermore, voter ID-Aadhaar linkage has reached 67% statewide, with training programs for BLOs underway.
