Siddhant Chaturvedi turns food vlogger for a day, showcases his mother’s Litti Chokha preparation

Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi stepped away from film sets and into his home kitchen this week for a “Litti Chokha party” hosted by him and his mother, preparing a dish rooted in his heritage.

Siddhant Chaturvedi shared a video on Instagram as his mother prepared a traditional Bihari meal, Litti Chokha. In the clip, he took on the role of a food vlogger, offering a look inside his home and the cooking process.

The clip opens with his mom preparing litti, baked wheat balls stuffed with a spiced gram flour mix, and offering her son a preview bite before they’re fully cooked. Then come the roasted tomatoes on the flame, the mashed vegetables coming together for the chokha, and finally, a platter served with tomato chutney, green chutney, and a drizzle of mustard oil.

“Aaj hogi Litti Chokha / Futehari Party,” Siddhant captioned the video.
