Shah Rukh Khan visits sets of Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par, shares iconic moments with cast

In a heartwarming surprise, Shah Rukh Khan recently paid a visit to the sets of Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated upcoming film that celebrates inclusivity, resilience, and the joy of sports. A video shared by Aamir Khan Productions on social media captured the megastar’s candid and affectionate interaction with the cast — all of whom are actors with Down Syndrome.

During his visit, Shah Rukh Khan was seen meeting and greeting every member of the cast, sharing light-hearted moments and making time for personal interactions. One of the most touching highlights was the group’s discussion with SRK about their favourite films — many of which starred the superstar himself. The excitement on the young actors’ faces was unmistakable as they got to talk cinema with one of India’s most beloved icons.

Adding to the magic, SRK even helped the cast learn his iconic pose — arms stretched wide — a signature move etched in Bollywood history. The entire set broke into applause and laughter as the group posed together, celebrating the moment with joy and warmth.

Speaking in the video, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that Aamir Khan had invited him multiple times to visit the sets, but due to scheduling conflicts, he hadn’t been able to make it earlier. “Aamir had called me many times to come and meet the team. I finally had a free day and I’m so glad I came,” SRK shared.

The behind-the-scenes video has since gone viral, garnering love from fans who praised the camaraderie between the two superstars and the inclusive spirit of the film.

The film, slated for release on June 20 2025, is directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. It serves as a spiritual successor to Aamir’s 2007 film Taare Zameen Par and is the official Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Spanish movie Champions. Aamir Khan stars as a basketball coach who, after being suspended, is assigned to train a team of players with disabilities for a major tournament. The film also features Genelia Deshmukh in a key role.

With Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan and his team are set to deliver a story that not only entertains but also elevates conversations around disability, inclusion, and sportsmanship — and Shah Rukh Khan’s visit has added a memorable layer to its journey.
