Google has launched its first Google Safety Engineering Centre (GSEC) in the Asia Pacific region, located in Hyderabad, India. This center aims to address India’s evolving cybercrime landscape and serve as a global hub for safety innovation, focusing on AI-powered threat detection and ecosystem collaboration. GSEC India will operationalize Google’s safety charter, strengthening cybersecurity and promoting responsible AI development.
