The stalled construction of the final underpass at the Pragati Maidan tunnel complex is set to resume after the PWD resolved technical issues that halted progress in 2023. The revised plan involves reducing the underpass’s dimensions to accommodate only light motor vehicles, decreasing lanes from three to two. Construction is expected to be completed within eight months, following approvals.
